This workshop focuses on research-based strategies for improving

classroom instruction through teacher observation. School leaders

will learn how to collect appropriate data on teacher performance,

and plan an effective evaluation conference and communicate

feedback that is beneficial to teacher growth and development.

 One of the keys to effective classroom management is the development of a quality relationship between the teacher and the students in the classroom. We will help teachers develop and adopt a relationship-building approach to classroom management by focusing on developing the whole student leading to more positive, socially-appropriate behaviors. 

This workshop will focus on strategies to organize and manage the differentiated classroom. Participants will explore how to set up the classroom for effective student groups, plan for differentiation, and set realistic student goals.

The workshop is great for understanding student motivations for particular behaviors and how teachers can use their understanding of student personality types to build a more effective classroom leading to higher levels of student engagement and achievement.

This workshop helps school leaders to effectively integrate

planning to use Title I funds as part of a comprehensive school

improvement plan.
