 Dr. Wendolyn Bouie is an award-winning educator and author with over 30 years’ experience as a teacher and administrator in public schools, private schools, and higher education. Throughout her career she has received a plethora of honors such as; the M.L. King, Jr. Humanitarian Award, the Presidential Award for Innovative Programs, and the John Stanford Award from the United States Department of Education.

While leaving her mark and becoming a resource for other educators, Dr. Bouie became a certified John Maxwell coach and trainer. Providing fundamental steps on how to become a leader, Dr. Bouie continued to develop and implement innovative programs which led her to being a highly respected public figure in the education sector.

Upon  the completion of her first book: “The Death of the Public School” in May of 2016, Dr. Wendolyn Bouie returned back to Mercer University as an adjunct doctoral professor. She continues to feed her passion for children by serving as a consultant to principals and superintendents in order to improve the quality of student learning.
